This Gently Used Shure 540S vintage microphone is in Very Good Cosmetic and Excellent Working Condition.  If you look very closely you can detect a few minor blemishes in the finish but at first glance it almost has the appearance of a New Microphone.
This is one of the early model 540 mics with the 3 pin Amphenol style connector.  The included 16' cable (used) is wired for High Impedance Operation at the microphone end and has a 1/4" plug at the amplifier end.  (Instructions are included which show how to change the wiring for low impedance operation at the switch).
The Labeling on the mic clearly reads:  Shure Model 540S, Sonodyne II, Series 2, Made in USA.  This is the Pistol Grip Model 540S which can be easily mounted on a mic stand for vocal use as well as for harp.
This is without a doubt one of the nicest Vintage Shure 540 microphones that you will find anywhere!
